Webinar: Killer Tactics 2: Business as Usual

Oct 2025

This webinar launches the second edition of Killer Tactics, a report from Action on Smoking and Health (ASH), the Obesity Health Alliance (OHA) and the Alcohol Health Alliance (AHA). The report is a follow-up to 2024’s Killer Tactics report, and tells the story of how health harming industries have used their tactics to undermine important public health policies since the Labour Government have been in power.

Including the stories of:

  • How the tobacco industry has tried to undermine the Tobacco and Vapes Bill
  • How alcohol industry lobbying has weakened the new government’s ambition on alcohol
  • The tactics used by the unhealthy food and drink industry to delay the junk food ad ban

Killer Tactics 2 sets out the strong case for keeping industry away from health policy making and ensuring transparency on conflicts of interest at all levels of government. The report includes a newly expanded ‘Killer Tactics’ Bingo style game card to help you spot the playbook tactics of industry.

The full report is available on the ASH website.
