Collectively the risk factors are responsible for tens of thousands of cases of cancer every year, while also increasing the risk of other conditions including cardiovascular disease, stroke, type-2 diabetes, liver disease and mental health conditions.Action on Smoking and Health, the Alcohol Health Alliance and the Obesity Health Alliance are working together to make the case for a more joined-up approach to prevention, accelerating action on smoking, alcohol and obesity.
